Midella's story is rooted in the olive-growing heritage of the Northern Aegean.

Generations ago, the family behind the brand was involved in olive cultivation and olive oil production on the island of Lesbos. After the population exchange, this heritage continued in Ayvalık, where the same connection to olive trees, the land, and the Aegean way of life was carried forward.

Although olive production was not actively continued by every generation, the culture remained part of the family's memory and identity.

Today, Midella brings this heritage back to life as a fourth-generation continuation of that story.

The name Midella comes from the meeting of two places that shaped this legacy: Midilli and Ayvalık. It reflects a journey across the Aegean, a shared culture of olive trees, and a return to roots through a contemporary brand.
